How to Bypass a Mirage OS Password
This explains how to bypass a Mirage OS password for the calculator. It tells you how to bypass it when it's turned on and it's there or when you just need to get in!
Battery Method
- Take out the batteries and put them back in (when the calculator is turned off). This should clear the RAM memory.
- After the memory is cleared, you can go into the calculator password free.
Memory Method
- Go to 2nd [MEM].
- Press 2 (or scroll down to Mem Mgmt/Del).
- Press ALPHA B or scroll down to AppVars.
- Go to the Application Variable named MirageOS.
- Delete it by pressing DEL.
- If it asks for a confirmation, go to yes and press ENTER.
- Go to the App MirageOS.
- You can now enter without a password.
Self test method
-this method works when you have the memory access blocked
- press mode
- press [alpha] + "s"
- press ok to begin the self test
- this will erase the RAM memory, and you will be able to get in the program
Tips
- This should work for most, if not all versions of Mirage OS.
- There are really good games and applications out there, so below are some links to learning and/or getting games or other useful stuff!
- If you need to get in at the home screen, follow the steps in the "Battery Method", only don't pull out the batteries. If you need to unblock the memory, then make sure everything is archived, and pull out the batteries. Go to the memory, and follow the steps located in the "Memory Method" section.
- If you have the memory menu blocked, first pull out the batteries. After you turn back on the calculator, imediatly go to the Memory Menu (before the "RAM Clear" shows up). After this, follow the above instructions for Memory Method.
Warnings
- Clearing the RAM can delete anything from the RAM memory, including programs and data, so make sure it's your calculator if you forgot the password, you won't want your friends to be mad at you for a big program they were making or a really good game deleted.
- If you blocked the memory menu from access, or (for some Mirage-based programs that run programs from Mirage) password-protected your memory menu, this will not work.
